For more than 35 years, The Princeton Review has been helping students get into their top choices for college. A lot has changed in that time: the SAT has undergone three major redesigns, the ACT emerged as the most popular admissions exam in the country, and a growing number of schools have gone test optional. We made some changes too, expanding our offerings with on-demand online tutoring and online admissions counseling.
What has stayed constant all this time is The Princeton Review’s commitment to students and their families. The Score blog carries on that commitment to help students get where they want to go in high school, college, and beyond.
Our name, The Score, obviously plays on our origins in test preparation but, while we will certainly be sharing our insights into the SAT, ACT, and AP exams, our experts will not be limited to admissions exams. We’re going to be giving you the score on admissions and academic preparation as well. We’ll be digging deeper into a range of subjects in order to tell you what you need to know to help your students. Or your kids! Or you!!!
Thanks for joining us on this new venture. We want to hear from you. Please use the comments section to tell us one thing you’d like to learn more about when it comes to getting into college.
